Traveling to Saint Michael's is simple
By Car
Saint Michael's campus is in northwestern Vermont, just a minute or two off of Exit 15 on I89 North.
FROM EXIT 15, INTERSTATE 89, use one of our two main campus entrances:
Main Entrance
Hoehl Welcome Center & Saint Michael the Archangel Chapel
Bear right off of exit 15, Interstate 89 past the south entrance and first set of lights. Stay in right lane and follow Route 15 through another set of lights. Bear right into the "jug handle" before the third set of lights. Cross the intersection to campus.
The Office of Admission is located in the Hoehl Welcome Center the first building on the left. Visitor parking is available at the entrance.
South Entrance
McCarthy Arts Center, Durick Library & Ross Sports & Tarrant Recreation Centers
Bear right off of exit 15, Interstate 89 and get into left lane. At the first set of lights, take left into parking lot. McCarthy Arts Center is on your right; Durick Library is straight ahead; Ross Sports Center and Tarrant Recreation Center are on the left toward the back of the parking lot.
Not driving?
Burlington International Airport (BTV) is less than 10 minutes away. The Greyhound Bus station is at the airport, and the Amtrak station is in Essex Junction, about a five-minute drive from campus. Taxi service is available throughout the area.
Current airlines servicing Burlington International Airport include Continental, Delta, JetBlue, United and US Airways. Direct flights are available from cities including Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, New York, Newark, Orlando, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.

South Entrance

Bear right off of exit 15, Interstate 89 and get into left lane. At the first set of lights, take left into parking lot. McCarthy Arts Center is on your right; Durick Library is straight ahead; Ross Sports and Tarrant Recreation Centers are on the left toward the back of the parking lot.
From Exit 15, Interstate 89 to North Campus Elley-Long Music Center, Sloane Art Center and the North Campus residence halls
Bear right off of exit 15, Interstate 89. Drive past Saint Michael's College, keep going past the Vermont National Guard Base (Camp Johnson). At next light, turn left into Fort Ethan Allen. Take 2nd right onto Ethan Allen Avenue. The buildings of North Campus are located on the first part of the avenue. For building identification, please view the campus map.

From Boston
Take Interstate 93 or Route 3 & 93 north to Interstate 89 (Concord, NH). Follow I-89 to Vermont Exit 15 (Winooski).
From Worcester
Take Interstate 290 east to Interstate 495 north to Route 3 & 93 north (Nashua), to Interstate 89 (Concord) to Exit 15 (Winooski).
From Hartford/Springfield
Take Interstate 91 north to Interstate 89 north (White River Junction area) Follow I-89 north to Exit 15 (Winooski).
From Danbury
Take Interstate 84 east to Interstate 91 North to Interstate 89 north to Exit 15 (Winooski).
From Greenwich/New Haven
Take Interstate 95 or Merritt Parkway to Interstate 91 north to Interstate 89 (White River Junction area) to Exit 15 (Winooski).
From New York City/New Jersey
Take the NY State Thruway (87) to the Albany area where 87 becomes The Northway. Take Exit 20 (Queensbury), Route 149 east to Fort Ann, follow Route 4, north to Fairhaven, VT to Route 22A, north, to Route 7, north (Vergennes) to route 189, east to Interstate 89, north to Exit 15 (Winooski).
From Albany
Follow directions from Adirondack Northway (87) north, listed under From New York City/New Jersey above.
From Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse
Most direct: N.Y. State Thruway 90 east to Route 8, east (Utica) to Route 9N, north to Ticonderoga. Cross Lake Champlain on the Crown Point Bridge to Route 74 north and then to Route 22A, north to Route 7 (Vergennes). Follow Route 7 north to Route 189 east to Interstate 89, north to Exit 15 (Winooski).
From North of Burlington
Take Interstate 89 south to Exit 16. Take right off exit, follow Route 7 south to junction of Route 15 ( roundabout at center of Winooski) Follow Route 15 East for approximately one mile. College is on left.
From the Burlington International Airport
Turn right leaving the airport onto Airport Drive. Follow the road through the sharp left turn onto White Street. Follow White Street until you come to a three-way stop and turn right onto Airport Parkway. You will follow Airport Parkway until you come to a blinking light. Bear left here onto Lime Kiln Road. Lime Kiln Road will bring you to a set of lights at Route 15 where you will see Saint Michael's directly in front of you. Take a right at this light and enter campus by taking your first right into the jug handle intersection. At the light go straight into the campus. The Admission Office is located in the Hoehl Welcome Center, the first building on your left-hand side.
