Saint Michael's is a part of the elite group of 283 colleges nationwide with Phi Beta Kappa chapters, one of only 20 national Catholic colleges, and one of four in New England.

According to U.S. News in its 2014 The Best Colleges listings, Saint Michael's is ranked at 89th, behind only Holy Cross in Catholic colleges in the Northeast, and is now the fifth-best ranked among Catholic liberal arts colleges in the entire nation.

Called one of the "best 300 colleges" by the Fiske Guide to Colleges. "There is something special to St. Mike's which is hard to put into words... Saint Michael's teaches students to go out into the world and work to make it a better place."

Travel + Leisure recently named Burlington, VT the number one college town in the country. With their Knightcard, students ride free on public transportation and can be downtown in a matter of minutes.

Saint Michael's is ranked 68th in the 2014 Kiplinger's Personal Finance list of best values in private colleges and is ranked 16th for best college values in New England. According to Kiplinger's, "Schools on the 2014 lists represent the colleges that provide high-quality academics at a reasonable cost during these continued tough economic times."

Named one of the 34 exemplary institutions in the NSSE, National Survey of Student Engagement by the Pew Charitable Trust and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

Our athletes have the best academic success rate in Divison II Athletics. St. Mike's graduated 99 percent of our student-athletes during the most recent four-year assessment period.
