Learn what matters

At Saint Michael's, students collaborate and explore with their professors while studying across a broad spectrum of subjects. Undergraduate education is our faculty's main focus; all courses are taught by professors (never by teaching assistants) who are highly regarded experts in their fields. Classes are small enough for everyone to know each other by name, and for learning to happen through conversation, challenge and discovery, not lecture.

You'll focus your education by choosing from more than 30 majors and minors, and then dive deeper with our experiential learning requirement. That means you can explore community through service, the world through international study, the working world with an internship, and collaboration with faculty on research opportunities that are rarely found in the undergraduate level--recent projects have included work in Hawaii on the Keck Telescope and sustainable agriculture in India.

By the time you graduate, you're not only prepared for your first job, but for a satisfying career. You'll have acquired new perspectives, independent thinking and the knowledge to be successful, as well as a greater understanding of the deeper meanings of life.
