Humanities Center

The mission and goals of the Humanities Center at Saint Michael's are to promote, develop and nurture programs and initiatives that deepen an understanding and appreciation for the humanities. The Center will both continue and enhance Saint Michael's tradition of commitment to the humanities, exemplified explicitly in the long-running Humanities Program, a celebrated program with over half a century of excellence in teaching and a stellar reputation among alumni.

Saint Michael's is now in our fifth year of having a Fairbanks Humanities Visiting Scholar-in-Residence on campus, a position endowed by an alumnus, Brian Lacey.
