Off Campus and Mobile Access
You can access most of the library's online resources from off campus using your MikeNet account. Click on the database or journal you would like to use and you will be prompted for your MikeNet username and password. You will then be able to use almost any resource on the library website for up to an hour, at which point you may be prompted to log in again.
A couple of things to note:
- Using Network Connect to access files from the O: or Z: drive when off-campus prevents access to library databases. Log off of Network Connect to access library databases.
- Some firewalls, particularly in institutional networks, have high security settings that prevent use of proxy access. If you get a firewall error message, you can talk to your system administrator about changing firewall settings.
- A few specialized databases have unusual configurations that will not allow proxy access, including Arden Shakespeare, History of Costume, and Library of Latin Texts. These can only be used on campus.
You can access most online resources through the library's mobile site. A Mikenet username and password is required for database access.

If you have forgotten your MikeNet password you can reset it using the Password Reset tool. If there is a problem with your MikeNet account you may need to contact Information Technology at 802.654.2020.
