Reserving Rooms
Requests are sometimes made to reserve certain rooms in the library. Those rooms are listed below along with contact and general information about reserving that space.
111 - Classroom/Conference
Contact - Registrar’s Office
This room is available for group meetings when not in use by scheduled classes. Open hours are available for group study on a first-come, first-served basis. A schedule of classes is posted outside the room. If someone would like to reserve an open time, they must contact the Registrar’s office.

113 - Durick’s Den
Durick’s Den may not be reserved. Anyone is welcome to have a meeting in that space providing they do not restrict access to the room. Questions or problems should be referred to the Executive Assistant or the Director.
115 - Peer Tutoring/Classroom
Contact - Registrar’s Office
This room is designated for classes and Peer Tutoring sessions. Open hours are available for group study on a first-come, first-served basis. A schedule of classes and Peer Tutoring hours are posted outside the entrance. If someone would like to reserve an open time, they must contact the Registrar’s office.

119 - Writing Center/Classroom
Contact - Registrar’s Office
This is the Writing Center, which is also used for classes during the day. A schedule of Writing Center hours is posted outside this room. If someone would like to reserve an open time, they must contact the Registrar’s office.

140/144/146 - Group Study Rooms
Group Study Rooms may not be reserved. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis to any group. Questions or problems should be referred to the Executive Assistant or the Director.
209 - Special Collections
Contact – Executive Assistant to the Director
This room cannot be reserved for recurring events, with the exception of Library staff meetings and department meetings for Modern Languages and History. Requests to reserve this room for one-time special events (interviews, photo shoots, etc.) may be directed to the Executive Assistant or the Director.

240 - Group Study Room
Group Study Rooms may not be reserved. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis to any group. Questions or problems should be referred to the Executive Assistant or the Director.
246 - Library Instruction Classroom
Contact – Marilyn Scoville
The purpose of this classroom is to accommodate library instruction sessions provided for faculty and students “on demand.” Those classes will receive priority in scheduling. Other requests should be directed to Marilyn Scoville.
NOTE: This room is generally not available during academic year class hours.
