Students must submit 2 copies of their thesis to the library. One copy will be housed in Special Collections, the other in the circulating stacks. Some academic departments require a copy for their files as well. Students may have additional personal copies bound. The cost of all binding must be prepaid. The cost, per volume, will be announced each year. In addition, students must fill out the Thesis Binding Request Form, available in the Graduate Office.
Thesis, check and form should be delivered to the Serials Department, Library room 224, between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, or left with the supervisor at the circulation desk. These materials should not be left with a work-study student.
Theses are sent off-campus to be bound every 2 weeks. The student is notified when the thesis is ready, and it will then be put on the Personal Hold shelf at the Circulation Desk. The student can pick up their materials during any of the hours that the library is open.
