MATESL Saint Michael's College, BA Johnson State College, RN Mount Sinai Hospital School of Nursing, NY,NY.

The majority of my working life has been spent employed by Saint Michael’s College for over twenty years in my favorite place – the library.  In my other earlier life I practiced psychiatric nursing at Mount Sinai Hospital as well as in the USAF, and general medical-surgical nursing in California before winding up my nursing career with two years as evening charge nurse in ICU in a Denver hospital.

Interests include: reading, computing and technology (theory and practice with Mac and Windows), ebooks, music, film, visiting my far flung family, and garment sewing.

Current reading: T.E. Lawrence’s Seven Pillars of Wisdom, John Buchan’s Prestor John, Alan Furst’s Night Soldiers, Eoin Colfer’s Artemis Fowl : the lost Colony.  Waiting in line are too many to count, including Charles Portis’s Gringos : a novel, the rest of Alan Furst, light reading by M.C. Beaton (love Hamish MacBeth and Agatha Raisin), and more by Neil Gaiman, and several non-fiction works about T.E. Lawrence.
