Example - broad search statement:
Human cognition enhanced or amplified through video game experience or pharmacological neuro-enhancement
Start by identifying your search terms in the statement above and break them down into narrower, synonymic and broader terms. You will use these terms for searches in journal article databases.

- Evaluate and select resources by applying the following criteria:
Timeliness: is the information current, updated, or from an historical perspective?
Authority: who is the author or editor; who is responsible for the website, article, book?
Accuracy: compare the facts with other sources
Purpose: who is the intended audience; what is the purpose of the document/source
Intended audience: high school, college, graduate level; general public, academics, professional?
