Final Presentation Guidelines
The order of the presentations will be determined by lottery and teams will be notified of their presentation order by April 23. Each team will have approximately 20 minutes for their presentation and questions from the judges. The judges will have received a copy of your Executive Summary and Full plan before the oral presentations. If the timing creates schedule conflicts for you, you should address them far in advance. You will not be considered for the award if you can not make the presentation. You may not listen to presentations until after your team has presented.
The competition will begin sharply at 1 pm in Pomerleau Alumni Center with judge introductions and competition rules. The team member responsible with the presentation file should arrive by 12:45 so your presentation can be loaded and ready to go. All other team members should arrive by 12:50. At 1:05 pm, our sponsor, Peter Worrell' 78, H'06, will offer remarks to the teams. If you need to leave, please be back at least 20 minutes before your scheduled presentation, just in case.
Important: Business Professional Attire required. Students not meeting minimum standards will be immediately disqualified from their team and the competition. For women, business professional attire requires a business suit or pants suit, slacks with blouse and jacket or a conservative dress. For men, professional dress means a business suit or dress slacks with a collared, button-down shirt, a tie and blazer. All clothing must be ironed. Neither men or women should wear sneakers or athletic shoes.
Award Ceremony and reception to follow approximately 45 minutes after the last team completes its presentation.
