How Do I Do It?

Students may compete in groups. While there is no technical limit to group size, no more than six may participate in the plan presentation. Typically a group is three to four students.

What's The Prize?

Winner receives $5,000! Second place: $2500; third place: $1000.

While the prize is intended to be used as seed money for the start up of the organization, there are no restrictions on the use of the prize money once awarded.

When Is Everything Due?

Copies of the Plan: Thursday, March 28, 2013
Business Plan Contents

You must submit 3 paper copies for the 2nd round scorers to the Business Department Office, JEM149. The copies need not to be in color or bound, etc.

Finalists Notified: Tuesday, April 9, 2013

If your plan is selected as a finalist you have the opportunity to revise or modify your written plan, perhaps based on feedback from you first draft.

Revisions for Finalists: Friday, April 12, 2013

If your plan is selected as one of 5 finalists, you must submit 5 paper copies of your plan to Robert Letovsky (JEM149) after you have made any changes suggested in the first round of scoring.

Final Presentation: Friday, April 19, 2013
