On Thursday, November 6 three Economic majors, Sean Morrissey, Ben Rosbrook and Amanda Battista presented their Saint Michael's College funded summer research projects to students and faculty at a public forum held in the Farrell Room. Dr. Herb Kessel (Professor of Economics), Professor George J. Borjas (the Robert W. Scrivner Professor of Economics and Social Policy at Harvard University), and Professor Laurie Gagne (Director of the Edmundite Center for Peace and Justice at Saint Michael's College). Professor Borjas spoke about the economic consequences of immigration at the McCarthy Arts Center on September 16, 2010. The lecture was part of the 2010 Edmundite Peace and Justice Center's Lecture Series. Also speaking were Dr. Patrick Walsh (Assistant Professor of Economics) and Dr. Richard Kujawa (Professor of Geography).
