Best tip for students coming for a campus visit
I think it is helpful to reflect on what characteristics you are really looking for in a college or university before you visit. When you come to campus, do your research ahead of time and ask questions. You will find that our staff, students, and faculty are friendly, helpful, and passionate about what Saint Michael's has to offer. After your campus visit, I would encourage you to explore downtown Burlington, which is just minutes away!
Favorite thing about Burlington
I enjoy how Burlington celebrates the diversity of cultures, ideas, and perspectives. I also love the change of seasons we have here!
What do you enjoy most about being an admission counselor?
As an Admissions Counselor, I have the privilege of speaking with prospective students and families about the tradition, culture, and opportunities found at Saint Michael's. I enjoy watching students realize that Saint Michael's College is the supportive academic environment that they are looking for!
When I was a student at Saint Michael's, I enjoyed the opportunities to: study abroad; develop my own internship; create volunteer programs through the MOVE office; participate in a domestic service trip to New Orleans; make new friends by playing intramural sports; and engage in hands on learning through the experiential learning curriculum.
The unique sense of community and tradition found at Saint Michael's cannot be matched, and I am very grateful for how the College helped me to grow academically and personally. I now look forward to speaking with prospective students about the enriching adventures that await them at Saint Michael's.
