Study TESOL in Vermont at Saint Michael's

Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)

facebookFor over 50 years, Saint Michael's MATESOL program has been recognized locally and internationally as a premier learning environment for prospective teachers. Situated on a beautiful campus in Vermont, our MA and other TESOL programs prepare students to teach English to speakers of other languages, both in the US and overseas. When you join the Saint Michael's family, you'll experience a close-knit community of supportive faculty and classmates from all around the world. Our variety of programs offers you the flexibility to find a path best suited for your needs at an affordable price.

If you already have graduate TESOL coursework from an approved program, you may be able to transfer up to 6 credits to the MA. TESOL certificate holders from Via Lingua, UC Irvine Extension, and Sookmyung University are eligible for advance standing according to our articulation agreements. In addition, applicants who have earned a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) from the Cambridge English Language Assessment, part of the University of Cambridge, also are eligible for 6 credits of advanced standing. Come for a day, visit a class, or contact us!
