Teacher Endorsements

An endorsement is an official statement that identifies the specific subjects or grade level that an individual is authorized to teach. Upon successful completion of specific course work, teachers can be recommended by Saint Michael's to the State for additional endorsements to their initial license, including Special Education or Consulting Teacher, English as a Second Language, Reading/English Language Arts Specialist, and School Leadership.

For detailed information on endorsements for licensed teachers, or the courses needed for an endorsement not listed below, contact the Department of Education for the State of Vermont at their web site or by calling 802-828-2445. If you do not currently hold a Vermont teacher’s license, visit our Teacher Licensure page.
