Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
For over 50 years, the Saint Michael's TESOL Programs have been recognized locally and globally as a premier learning environment for prospective teachers of English. The Master's in TESOL (MATESOL) (36 credits) prepares students for careers in teaching English to speakers of other languages, both in the US and abroad.

MATESOL Campus + Online program (36 credits) - Two summers on campus; fall and spring online; graduate within 14 months.
Peace Corps Master's International Program (36 credits) - Earn 8 MATESOL credits while serving overseas.
Graduate Certificate in TESOL (24 credits) - A solid grounding in TESOL for students who do not want to commit to the full Master's program at this time.
Summer TESOL Diploma Program - A lively four-week program to get you on your teaching feet and into the field. Earn six credits toward the Saint Michael's MATESOL degree on successful completion of the program and a capstone project.
MATESOL + PK-12 Teacher Licensure (49 credits) - This initial licensure program is run jointly with the Graduate Education Department.
MATESOL + PK-12 Endorsement for licenced teachers (36 credits) - Earn your public school ESL certification within the Master's program.
PK-12 ESL Endorsement for Licensed teachers (18 credits)
