An endorsement is an official statement that identifies the specific subjects or grade level that an individual is authorized to teach. Licensed teachers can get endorsements, which also known as additional endorsements. The endorsement in English as a Second Language (ESL) can be taken within the Master's Degree or as the endorsement only.
An application for admission is required for students who seek a Master's in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and an ESL endorsement; however, a formal application is not needed for students seeking only the endorsement.
