Education Courses

Go to the tab below to view the summer courses.  Courses are listed in numerical order.  Course descriptions are listed below the summary box. To know the required courses for your particular area of study, consult the licensure or concentration area in our Education section. If you have any questions please contact your academic advisor or Karen Abbott in the Graduate Education Office at kabbott@smcvt.edu or 802.654.2649.  Starting Fall 2013 all course listings will be viewable only through KnightVision.

Fall 2013 GED Course Listing

Fall registration will start June 3rd for matriculated students and July 1st for all others.  The course listing/descriptions will be available on KnightVision only.  To view the fall courses, click on KnightVision in the box to your left under Register for Courses.  Follow these steps:      

    Click on Students (you do not have to be matriculated to view courses here, but you do to register)
    Next, click on "Search for Sections" under the Registration section
    Find the Term, use arrow pulldown, choose Fall
    Go to Subjects, find Graduate Education and click on the Submit key
    Scroll through the course listing, use the Next button to view more or Back button to return
    The "Available/Capacity" column indicates how many seats are vacant, i.e. 16/18, there are 16 seats
    Click on the course you are interested in to view the course description and room assignment
    Matriculated students can register in KnightVision, all others must print a paper registration form
