At Ben & Jerry’s, biology and environmental studies major Anne Burnham interned in the ice cream factory’s exemplary wastewater treatment facility. She learned firsthand the process by which the company sustains responsible environmental practices as part of their manufacturing process, while applying her science skills to water quality testing (and she got plenty of free ice cream, too).
