Emily Burke Dousevicz, former Director of Annual Giving at the University of Vermont, has been named Graduate Program Marketing Coordinator starting this week. She will be overseeing marketing of SMC graduate programs in Education, Clinical Psychology, and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
"Having worked here before, I am excited to be back in this wonderful community," Ms. Dousevicz said. She was Assistant Director for Annual Giving at Saint Michael's from 1998-2000, after which she was Assistant Director for Annual Giving at Middlebury College from 2000-2001.
Ms. Dousevicz was Senior Alumni & Parent Programs Officer at UVM from 2001-2009, and Director of Annual Giving there from 2009-2010. She has been home since the birth of her third child in 2010.
Ms. Dousevicz has been a volunteer with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Vermont, serving on their board from 2003-2009, and with Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, the South Hero summer camp for children with cancer, from 1999-2003.
Ms. Dousevicz and her husband Brad Dousevicz, and their children, Ryan, 8; Quinn, 6, and Alice, 3, reside in Colchester.
