Hurricane Sandy Emergency Procedures

Powerful wind gusts upwards of 70 mph are forecast to start at about 5 PM today and to last through tomorrow morning. Saint Michael's is taking the following precautions:

• People are urged to stay indoors and not walk around this evening
• All classes that start at 4 PM or later, today, are cancelled
• All evening events scheduled from 5 PM onward tonight are cancelled
• Classes will resume Tuesday, unless otherwise announced on the website. An announcement of cancellation will be made by 7 AM Tuesday
• Dining will continue as usual on campus
• The shuttle will continue to operate between North Campus and the Main Campus
• The SMC Early Learning Center will follow the same schedule of closing or not closing as the college follows.
