Learn what matters

At Saint Michael's, our students study across a broad spectrum of subjects and undergraduate education is our faculty's main focus. All courses are taught by professors (never by teaching assistants) who are highly regarded experts in their fields. Classes are small enough for everyone to know each other by name, and learning happens through conversation as well as through lectures.

You'll focus your education by choosing from more than 30 majors and minors, and then dive deeper with our experiential learning requirement. That means you can explore the community through service, the world through international study, the working world with an internship, or collaborate with faculty on research opportunities that are rarely found in the undergraduate level—projects have included work in Hawaii on the Keck Telescope and sustainable agriculture in India.

By the time you graduate, you'll be prepared for your first job and for a satisfying career. You'll have acquired new perspectives, independent thinking skills,  the knowledge required to be successful, as well as a greater understanding of the deeper meanings of life.
