Your Life at St. Mike's
Playing live music--or being a DJ. Hearing a talk by a Nobel Prize winner. Hitting the slopes at Smuggs. Going sea kayaking in Scotland. Running for office. Taking a service trip to New Orleans. Learning to drive a fire truck -and save a life. This is the life at St. Mike's. How will you make it yours?
When our students aren't in class, studying or performing research with their professors, you'll find them lining up for concerts at Turtle Underground, rock climbing in Bolton, representing their fellow classmates in our active Student Government, playing lacrosse or field hockey, or heading down to the Flynn Center to see a Broadway musical.
Learn to be a leader with our Wilderness leadership training programs - many of our students graduate and become wilderness guides. Or join the family at Fire and Rescue; you'll learn to be a first responder, gain life-saving skills as an EMT and be prepared for a career in health or public service. Write for the Defender, our campus newspaper, and join the long history of student and alumni journalists. Play rugby. Tap dance. Develop your darkroom skills.
Some say having more things to do leads directly to happiness. Here's some of what makes so many of our students at St. Mike's so happy.
