Student Health Services
Student Health Services provides health care to Saint Michael's undergraduate and international students, and referral services for master's students. Our staff includes registered nurses and nurse practitioners, and our consultants include a registered dietician, psychiatrist and psychiatric nurse practitioner.
In addition to providing individualized health care, we also teach health education and wellness on a one-to-one basis and through campus-wide programming. We encourage students to take responsibility for their own health by providing health information and knowledge of care options.
Health Services is open seven days a week during the academic year, with reduced hours during college vacations and breaks.
All incoming first-year and transfer students are required to complete a health history form, which is included in the New Student Guide. You may download the health history form and immunization record form if needed.
Hours during the academic year:
Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:30
Saturday and Sunday 12:00 to 4:00

Health Insurance and Fees
Student Health Insurance
Saint Michael's College requires all full-time students and students in residence be covered under a health insurance plan. This coverage may be provided through the Saint Michael's College Student Health Insurance Plan or by a private health insurance policy. The Saint Michael's College Student Health Insurance Plan is being administered by Consolidated Health Plans, CHP.
The benefits outlined merit your careful attention. This policy is not designed to cover preexisting health conditions and elective procedures. It also does not include routine vision or dental coverage. Students with chronic or recurrent health conditions should consider other health insurance options.
You may purchase the Saint Michael's College Student Health Insurance Plan at an annual premium of $1,357. All students, regardless of type of health insurance coverage, are strongly encouraged to bring an up-to date health insurance card to college. Please review your health insurance and be sure you are covered for medical and pharmaceutical care in Vermont.
For questions about the plan, please contact Consolidated Health Plans at 800.633.7867.
There is no charge for visits to Student Health Services. Fees may be charged for vaccines, medications and laboratory testing sent to outside labs.
All visits to Student Health Services are confidential. Information is not shared with anyone without a student's permission. Confidentiality of visits and records is every student's right.
