Undergraduate and graduate alumni as well as SMC families and Trinity College alumnae are always welcome at SMC regional events!

This schedule changes often so we invite you to check back regularly. With the help of our alumni and parent volunteers, the Office of Alumni and Family Relations plans between 50-60 events over the course of the year, including regional and on campus events. January 2017

January 28 Ice Hockey Teams Host 'Mental Health Awareness Day'. Women host Nichols College at 1 p.m. Men host Castleton University at 4 p.m. Both games are at Cairns Arena in South Burlington. Games are free. Event is sponsored by Hope Happens Here

February 2017

February 1 Boston Celtics vs. Toronto Raptors at the TD Garden. Tip-off at 7 p.m. Tickets are $45 for Promenade Skybox Suite. Ticket pick-up from 6-7:30 p.m. at The Greatest Bard, 26 Friend Street, Boston. THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT.

February 3 - 5 Liturgical Choir Trip to Long Island
2/3 Our Lady of Mercy Academy, Syosset, NY   9:00 a.m. Mass
2/3 Holy Trinity Diocesan High School, Hicksville, NY  1:00 p.m. Mass 
2/4 Notre Dame Church, New Hyde Park, NY   5:00 p.m. Mass
2/5 Church of St. Anne, Garden City, NY 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. Mass

February 18 Pizza Social between Men's and Women's Basketball games vs. Assumption. Women's game starts at 1:30 p.m. Men play  Pizza social will take place in the Athletic Department Office in the Tarrant Recreational Center (upstairs). Tickets are $12/adults and $6 for children 10 and under. Tickets include entry into both games and pizza and soft beverage. 

February 23 Saint Michael’s alumnus and NPR Pentagon correspondent Tom Bowman ’77 will be presenting on campus at 6 p.m. in the Roy Room in the Dion Student Center. The title of his talk, “Reporting on war and conflict in Afghanistan and Iraq” will highlight Bowman’s many trips to the war torn  region and being embedded with U.S. troops. Bowman was nearly killed last year when his envoy was ambushed killing his colleague NPR photographer David Gilkey and their Afghani translator. Bowman will speak alongside veterans of both wars and their lives in Vermont since returning. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, email

March 4 10th Annual Cannon Mountain Ski Day and Aprés Ski Social. $49/adult, $38 per Jr/Sr (6-12 yrs/ 65+). Ticket pick-up at Peabody Base Lodge Loft from 7:45 -10:30 a.m. Group photo at base of Peabody Express Quad at 10:45 a.m. Aprés-ski social at 3:30 pm. For more info please email Meghan at 

March 11 Annual Naples St. Patrick's Day Parade, Naples FL. Parade starts at 11 a.m. Interested in marching? Email Allison at 

March 20-24 Alumni Appreciation Week events. This event is designed to say "thank you" to our many alumni who support Saint Michael's throughout the year, both financially and through volunteering, and to show our students the many benefits of being a Saint Michael's College alumnus.
