I've been the Management Trainee for New England Telephone. I held mid-management positions in sales, human resourses, and wholesale project management for NET, NYNEX, Bell Atlantic, and Verizon before retiring from Verizon in 2003.
I currently work as a real estate broker with Camber Real Estate and Principal in-home handyman business.
I met and became life-long friends with a great bunch of classmates at St. Michael's. That's what I appreciate most about St. Mike's. That, and the College gave both of my kids totally different but equally satisfying SMC experiences. My son Steve graduated in 2000 and daughter Liz graduated in 2004, and they are both gainfully employed.
My mom and dad sacrificed to send my brother and me to college. My wife Sue and I decided to establish a scholarship at St. Mike's in their name and memory to help future deserving students. We, Steve, and Liz make our annual contribution to SMC directed to this fund.
My advice to incoming first-years? Get involved while you are a student and when you are an alumnus.
