Health Volunteer, Peace Corps
At Saint Michael's College I double-majored in Political Science and Spanish. My thesis investigated the effectiveness of the United States' foreign aid allocation. While at Saint Michael's I was also involved with the volunteer organization MOVE, specifically with their extended service trips.  I participated in trips to Boston, Baltimore, and most recently to Kolkata, India. The Peace Corps was a logical next step, offering me an opportunity to connect my academic and practical knowledge in a rewarding way. So, beginning in February 2013 I will be a health volunteer with the Peace Corps in Guatemala.
