Reza Ramazani, professor of economics, recently wrote two book reviews in his field. He reviewed Capitalism from Below: Markets and Institutional Change in China, by Victor Nee and Sonja Opper (Harvard, 2012) for the November 2012 issue of Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries, a publication of the Association of College & Research Libraries. For the same publication’s February 2013 issue, he also reviewed The Ashgate Research Companion to International Trade Policy, edited by Kenneth Heydon and Stephen Woolcock. (Ashgate, 2012). Reza also has been invited again this year to be on several panels as part the 65th Conference on World Affairs at University of Colorado, Boulder on April 8-12, 2013, and he will attend the Annual Western Economic Association International Conference this summer in Seattle, WA.

Weaver in the May 2012 edition of Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries, a publication of the Association of College & Research Libraries. It is the leading academic library review publication. For the same publication’s September 2012 edition, he also reviewed “In the wake of the crisis: Leading economists reassess economic policy,” ed. by Olivier Blanchard et al. Reza also has been selected to be a member of the Editorial Board of the International Research Journal, and was invited again this year to be on several panels as part the 64th Conference on World Affairs at University of Colorado, Boulder, on April 9-13, 2012. During the conference he participated in 7 different panels: “Universities in the Age of Economic Uncertainty,” “What's Your Currency Worth?, “Revitalizing Jobs in America,” “Breaking the Financial Gridlock,” “It's the Economy Eurocrisis or Eurorecovery” (radio broadcast), “Immigrants...and Still They Don't Give Up,” and “Closing the Global Income Gap.” Reza also attended the Annual Western Economic Association International Conference on June 29-July 3, 2012 in San Francisco, California.
