What’s your favorite class at St. Mike’s?

Introduction to Philosophy. It’s the doorway to a whole new way of thinking to which most people don’t have access before college.

What is the one thing you wished you DIDN’T pack your first-year? Or, what is one thing you recommend that first-year students pack that they might not have thought of?

High school mentality. College is a whole new world where you’ll meet all sorts of personalities, some familiar and some you’d never be able to imagine. Go at it with an open mind and an open ear, and experience it to the fullest; don’t bring the typical high school drama along with you and it’ll be an even greater experience.

What's a fun fact about St. Mike’s that a first-year student should know?

Smart boards are one of the most fun facets of campus. Nothing is better than drawing a mustache on a smart board, watching a movie, and laughing every time a character walks “behind” it.

What’s your favorite spot on campus?

I love the overlook across the street. It’s a great place to gather your thoughts and relax, or to watch for shooting stars.

What is one thing you’ve learned at St. Mike’s (in or out of the classroom) that surprised you?

It surprised me when I learned that I didn’t know anything about myself. I’ve changed a lot since I got here, and my friends and professors have been there to support me every step of the way.
