What do you like about St. Mike's?
People say it a lot because it's true: community and the people. Everyone's different but I find them all to be quite likable.
What's your favorite class?
Intro to Environmental Studies.
Do you have a favorite professor?
Nat Lewis. He's…well, he's Nat Lewis! I love how open and accepting he is. He just makes you think so differently.
What's your favorite spot on campus?
I really like the lounges, because you can do work there if you need to but also that you can pop in a movie or something, too.
What's something you’ve learned at St. Mike's that’s been inspiring?
I had heard about the community and how if you wanted to do something, you'd find support. When I put together the Quidditch Cup earlier this year, I saw that it was true and how simple it is to bring everyone together because of that.
How are you involved with the community?
Turtle Underground. I went to open mike and they welcomed me in and offered me a time slot to sing and play acoustic guitar. I played a show the other night and they were really supportive of it. And I'm the secretary of my class.
What do you do in your spare time?
I sit in my room with friends and play guitar. I go to McCarthy and use the pianos. I nap. I go outside. I like going to the woods. I go mountain biking and I plan on skiing.
What do you want to do with your life?
I want to go to grad school for Environmental Studies. I want to get married and have kids and live in a house with them and have lots of animals, primarily cats. I want to be an old cat lady; that's what I want to do.
What makes you happy?
Everything about this place makes me happy. It’s just great. I had a chance to visit a few times before I decided to come here, and it was just one of those things where I was walking around campus at 12 or 13 and thinking "this is really cool." It felt like home before it really was.
