Saint Michael's faculty, students, staff and special guests will gather for several events honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. from Jan. 22nd to Jan. 26th. "The Cost of Silence" is the theme of the week's activities and activist-author-preacher Rev. Robert Lee IV, a direct descendent of the Civil War general, will give the keynote address on Monday, Jan. 22, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Convocation at 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Saint Michael the Archangel.
Also speaking during the week's events will be social justice activist and Attorney S. Lee Merritt, whose topic will be “The Cost of Silence in the American Justice System: Struggling for Justice for a Free and Democratic Society" during a talk at the McCarthy Arts Center on Thursday, Jan. 25, at 7 p.m.
