Burlington's Waterfront

Burlington's Waterfront area has a lot to offer. 

Often the site of of various festivals during the warmer months, the waterfront is also the home to ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center, located at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain.   

The bike path is a 7.6 mile recreational route on which you can walk, run or in-line skate, runs right through the main waterfront area.   Bike and blade rentals are available.

Many ferry tours of Lake Champlain depart from Burlington's waterfront, and the Burlington Boathouse offers great views of ferry and sailboat comings and goings. 

The Community Sailing Center rents boats and kayaks for those wanting to spend some time on the water.
