The Church Street Marketplace is a 5-block long pedestrian mall in the heart of downtown Burlington. Here you'll find retail shopping (including national retailers as well as a variety of unique boutiques and local businesses), restaurants, coffee houses, street performers, and, of course, the best people-watching experience in town!
During the warmer months, the Marketplace is a hub of activity. As the fifth most popular tourist destination in the state of Vermont, people flock to Church Street to take advantage of the many
restaurants offering outdoor seating, as well as the many food kiosks, frequent parades and festivals, street musicians and performing artists.
During the colder months, the Marketplace transforms in to a winter wonderland with thousands of sparkling white lights and people doing their holiday shopping with a hot coffee drink from Speeder and Earl's or Starbucks.
Downtown Burlington's largest shopping center, the Burlington Town Center, has its main entrance right off the marketplace.
Be sure to visit the Church Street Marketplace Web site for more information about this terrific area.
