About the Just One program
What happens to the names of students you refer to our Just One program? Below are some questions and answers about the program that will help explain how the process works.
- What happens when the Office of Admission receives the name?
We enter the student's name, address and high school graduation year into our database. The student will receive admission materials appropriate for his or her high school graduation year.
- Does the student have to apply for admission to Saint Michael's?
We hope that the student will want to apply for admission to Saint Michael's after learning about our superior academics, Catholic heritage, residential experience and unsurpassed location; however, they do not have to apply for admission.
- Who should I refer to Saint Michael's College through the Just One program?
You should refer high school students who are considering post-secondary education.
- Does ths student have to be a member of my family?
We hope yo would refer students in your family - sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, granddaughter or grandson. But you are not limited to family members. Send us the names of family friends, the babysitter, paper deliverer, altar server, or your neighbor.
- Does the student have to be interested in Saint Michael's?
No. The student may not even be familiar with Saint Michael's. By sending us the student's name, you are giving the Office of Admission the opportunity to introduce Saint Michael's to the student.
- Does the student have to be a senior in high school?
No. In fact, we know students are beginning the college search process earlier in their high school career. You can send in the names of students who are in the first year of high school all the way through the fall of the senior year of high school.
