Saint Michael’s College is seeking to fill a tenure track position in The Department of Chemistry and Physics in bio-organic chemistry to begin in August, 2009. A Ph.D. in chemistry and prior teaching experience are required. The individual must be qualified to teach at all levels of undergraduate chemistry, specifically including general or introductory chemistry (for science majors and non-science majors), organic chemistry, and biochemistry. The individual will also be expected to maintain an active research program, preferably one that can include undergraduates. Special consideration will be given to candidates interested in developing interdisciplinary courses and working with colleagues throughout the College.
