Head Coach, Men's Soccer/Athletics Administration
 (Full-time 11 month, with benefits)

Applications are invited for the position of Head Coach of Men’s Soccer/Athletics Administration at Saint Michael's College, a NCAA Division II institution and member of the Northeast-10 Conference.  Administrative duties will include Event Supervision for spring home contests and Athletic Ticket Manager for gated events.  Additional program information can be found at www.smcathletics.com.

Coaching responsibilities include:

  • Directing all aspects of the coaching and management of the men’s soccer program
  • Recruiting and scouting
  • Coaching in game and practices
  • Strength and conditioning
  • Budget management, fundraising, and alumni development.
  • Supporting the academic and personal development of all athletes.
  • Hiring and supervising a part-time assistant coach.
  • Visible, fully integrated member of the College community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred,
  • A minimum of 5 years collective competitive and/or coaching experience required. 
  • Strong preference for collegiate soccer coaching experience, particularly as a head coach. 
  • Commitment to the overall development of the student-athlete and the mission of the College.
  • High level of personal integrity.
  • Outstanding work ethic.
  • Demonstrated coaching success.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in recruitment.
  • Outstanding skills in oral and written communication,
  • Good organizational ability and computer competency.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, and sustain certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Must legally be able to work in the United States.
