Businesses across the country are looking for graduates who are effective communicators, understand the nature of business in society and can think analytically. That’s why our alumni succeed.
Taking
business or accounting at a liberal arts college means you’ll have a broader view of opportunities in all aspects of your life; you’ll be better able to construct and articulate a rationale for being hired and you‘ll have the skills to be promoted throughout your career.
The business administration major is a well-rounded, general business major that exposes students to each of the functional areas of business. It emphasizes the nature, function, and social role of the business organization, stressing that administration is both an art and a science. The major is designed to prepare students to make sound decisions in a business world influenced by diverse attitudes, values, philosophies and environments.
In addition to the business major, Saint Michael's offers minors in accounting, business, finance, information systems, international business, management, and marketing.
