The SMC courses in this program are all full courses, and so count as 4-credit courses.
*These courses are part of UVM’s Pre-Engineering Technical (PET) Requirement, and must be completed with a grad of C- or better.

The plan above is a sample and there will be some variation from one student to another, depending on the level of preparation in mathematics (AP courses, for example), language placement, and the order in which LSC courses are taken. Also scheduling is often constrained by the actual times at which courses are offered and commuting time to UVM; this sometimes forces rearrangements in the schedule. The Engineering Advisors are fully involved in helping students plan out their individual programs.
