Explore the Outdoors

Summer in Vermont has so much to offer. You can discover some of Vermont’s great spots with afternoon activities in the Greater Burlington area, including canoeing on the Lamoille River, hiking in the Green Mountains, participating in a nearby ropes course and much more. Activities are appropriate for every fitness and ability level and are led by group leaders and trained guides. You may also use your afternoons for faculty interaction and research on your academic topic.

Explore Burlington

When the sun goes down, the Burlington area gets busy. During your week on campus, you’ll experience a wide range of educational, social, and cultural activities. These will include a Vermont Lake Monsters baseball game, an evening on the Church Street Marketplace, a cruise on Lake Champlain and an evening of professional theater at the renowned Saint Michael’s Playhouse. One evening will feature a workshop on applying to college by staff members.
