The Information Systems major, with its liberal arts emphasis, is offered jointly by the Business and the Computer Science Departments. Students study the way organizations utilize technology resources and services. Information Systems is for students who are interested in the broader aspects of computing in the context of efficiently operating and promoting an organization.
Graduates of the Saint Michael's Information Systems major may engage in designing and maintaining computer networks and database systems, creating Web sites, handling system administration or managing others for the strategic and technological advantage of an organization.
