The Durick Library is a private facility reserved primarily for Saint Michael's College students, faculty, staff, alumni, and trustees, but visitors are welcome to visit the library for research.

Visitors may use library materials on-site, but borrowing privileges are restricted to the SMC community or students, faculty, or staff from other colleges with which the library has reciprocal borrowing agreements.

Visitors may request a guest computer network login by presenting a photo ID at the Circulation Desk.  Guests are limited to 60 minutes of network access per day and must abide by all network use policies.  During busy periods guests may be denied a login or asked to vacate a workstation.

A responsible adult must supervise all minors under high school age and visitors may be asked by the staff to provide an ID.  Saint Michael's College is not responsible for minors or for monitoring their use of materials or equipment or for the inappropriate conduct of any patrons.

Anyone found violating library or college policy or acting in a disruptive manner may be asked to leave at the discretion of any library staff member on duty.

Additional information is available in the Visitor's Guide.
