Business Insights: Essentials provides detailed company and industry profiles including SWOT, market share, and financial reports, as well as company histories and industry essays.

Better Business Bureau is an organization that works to build trust between consumers and businesses with a focus on honest advertising and industry self-regulation. The Annual Reports highlight what BBB does and trends in the marketplace.

National Bureau of Economic Research Founded in 1920, the NBER is a private, non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to conducting economic research and to disseminating research findings among academics, public policy makers, and business professionals.

National Center for Education Statistics is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education in the US and other nations.

US Census Bureau provides access to data on a wide variety of topics including population demographics, economy, business, education, emergency preparedness, employment, families & living arrangements, health, housing, income & poverty, international trade, and the public sector. For detailed demographics in VT consider using Nielsen Segmentation and Market Solutions 

US Bureau of Labor Statistics Labor, economic, statistical data, including stats on unemployment and consumer price indexes. Includes full text of Monthly Labor Review and Occupational Outlook Quarterly. 

BLS Industries at a Glance provides a 'snapshot' if national data obtained from different BLS surveys and programs. Many programs also produce additional industry detail, including state, county, and metropolitan area data.

US Office of Trade Policy & Analysis an office of Industry & Analysis within the International Trade Administration, provides data, analysis, and recommendations on policy and trade promotion issues affecting US industry competitiveness in a global setting.

FRED Economic Data provides access to the economic research from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, including regional and national financial and economic data
