Demographics and Consumer Spending

Local Market Analyst  A consumer market research tool that provides access to segmentation, demographics, and targeting data for media planners and consumer marketers; understand target audiences, their consumer behavior and lifestyles and have access to detailed reports and maps. MUST USE Internet Explorer versions 7, 8, or 9!  This is a great resource, but it has some technology limitations.  There is a good chance you won't have access to the outdated versions of Internet Explorer without coming to the library and using one of the computers here.

Census of the United States

The Business & Industry portal for the Economic Census which includes data on construction, international trade, manufacturing, retail trade, as well as special topics of business dynamics and business expenses.

Census Bureau's Population and Households

 Information from the Census broken down by subject including Metropolitan and Micropolitan statistical areas, computer and internet use, income, industry & occupation, labor force statistics, as well as many other categories.

Census Bureau's Income statistics

 Includes reports from the Current Population Survey on income and poverty in the United States.
