The physical science major consists of foundation courses in chemistry, physics and mathematics and a selection of advanced courses tailored to the student’s interest, selected in close consultation with an academic advisor.
This program offers a broader foundation in science than would be provided by a more specialized degree by providing a background in physics and chemistry which will allow students to pursue a technical or general scientific career, or to teach science at the pre-college level.
With an appropriate selection of electives, students will find themselves prepared for entry into professional post-graduate programs in medicine or law.
