"Crimes of the Heart" by Beth Henley
Directed by Peter Harrigan
November 2-5, 2011
The MaGrath sisters of Hazlehurst, Mississippi always seem to be part of a scandal. Find out what happened this time as they negotiate men, morality and (attempted) murder in this warm but dark comedy. Winner of the 1981 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, "Crimes" will serve as the senior capstone project for Katelyn Brisson, who will play the role of Meg.
"APP-etite" by Cathy Hurst
A new, original play that examines our obsession with technology and social media. This is a devised work, created by Cathy Hurst (Director) and the cast of APP-etite. The audience will be seated on the McCarthy Stage and will have an interactive part in the production. Texting will be allowed with members of the cast during performances. This production will also serve as the senior capstone project for Amanda Mulligan and Liz Levenson.
