For students applying for fall of 2010, our Early Action I deadline is November 1, 2009. All applicants who submit their application/essay and supplement* by this deadline will receive notice of the initial evaluation by December 31, 2009. The Early Action II deadline is December 1, 2009. Early Action II notification is on or before February 1, 2010.
* The required supporting documents can arrive within a reasonable amount of time after the deadline.
The phrase Early Action should not be confused with Early Decision. Early Action is non-binding. Students who apply under the Early Action deadlines and are granted acceptance are not obligated to attend Saint Michael's College.
The regular application deadline is February 1, 2010. (Please note: Saint Michael's College is no longer accepting first year or transfer applications for the fall 2010 semester.) Students are responsible for making sure that we have received all application materials and supporting documents so that we can provide a timely decision. We will continue to evaluate applications received after our deadline on a space available basis. If you file an application after the deadline and submit all your supporting material as soon as possible we will try to provide an on-time admission decision.
The preferred transfer application deadline for fall 2010 entrance is May 1, 2010. (Please note that this has been extended from our original deadline of March 15th). Applications received after that deadline will be considered on a space-available basis.
Saint Michael’s adheres to the universal candidate's reply date of May 1st. This means that all final admission decisions for the fall class will be made and sent to applicants by April 1, 2010, allowing accepted students until May 1st to notify us of their decision to enroll.
