Helpful Hints for the Online Common Application

Saint Michael's College exclusively uses the Common Application for undergraduate admission.

Students who are filling out the Common App online (commonapp.org) must also complete the Saint Michael’s supplement online.

Saint Michael's is an “All-In-1 Institution” which requires students to submit the following before the application can be reviewed and processed:

  1. Common Application
  2. Saint Michael’s Supplement (if using the common app online, students must also submit the supplement online)
  3. Payment or valid fee waiver (If you have a fee waiver form from your guidance counselor, NACAC or testing company, you should check the appropriate box.  If you have a fee waiver from Saint Michael's, you should check the school fee waiver option.  In either case you should mail the appropriate form to the Office of Admission.)

*** Please keep in mind that for a student’s total application to be considered complete, the College also needs to receive (in addition to the common application, Saint Michael’s supplement and $50 application fee) the following:

  1. Official high school transcript
  2. Official college transcript (transfer candidates only)
  3. Updated senior year grades (as updated each term)
  4. School Report Form
  5. SAT or ACT scores
  6. Teacher/counselor evaluations (at least one, preferably three)
  7. Personal essay (see application for instructions)
