What do you enjoy most about being an admission counselor? Helping students articulate the options they want after earning the bachelor's degree and identifying where Saint Michael's can support those interests.
Best tip for students coming for a campus visit: Be candid with yourself. Realize that wherever you attend for 4-5 years will become a "home" of sorts and you will meet yourself there--horns and all. You can tell pretty quickly if you've found a supportive environment that will help you through perhaps the toughest process of self-discovery you'll encounter your entire life. Study Saint Michael's College online, put some meaningful questions together to ask current students and... relax. Enjoy the journey--the landscape is breath-taking!
Best tip for students applying to Saint Michael's: Take the SAT twice. Apply early action (Nov. 1st or Dec. 1st: it is "non-binding" and you'll beat the rush.) Be sure to come for a campus visit at some point during the process. You'll quickly know in your heart if this is the place for you or not.
Testimonial: I am not a Saint Michael’s alumna, but encountered the caliber of the college in its alumni who serve my children as teachers and are my accountants, real estate lawyers and trusted civil servants in Colchester and Vermont. The proof is in the proverbial pudding. I understand why graduates call Saint Mike's home wherever they reside in the world and why they are remarkable assets in their field of choice--"to whom much is given, much is expected" and the humble Saint Michael's graduates consistently deliver quality services to their employers, customers, families and communities. Everything they have, they earn including my utmost respect. I have never been more delighted to promote a learning community than I have Knight-Country! |
