Typically about 80% of Saint Michael's students come from the New England states of Vermont Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine and New Hampshire. Another 15% come from the mid-Atlantic states of New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and the District of Columbia. The remaining students come from throughout the country and 2% coming from outside the United States.
About 3% of the undergraduate student body is comprised of African American, Asian American, Hispanic and Native Americans.
