Academic merit-based scholarships (Dean’s Scholarships) are offered to students with outstanding potential.
Candidates should both apply for admission by February 1 in order to be considered.
Students should have a minimum combined SAT score of 1800 (new SAT reasoning test) and a B+ average in their academic subjects. The scholarship is worth up to $12,500 per year for 4 years providing students maintain a 3.0 GPA while at Saint Michael's. Students from Vermont will be considered for the Green Mountain Scholarship valued at up to $15,000 per year.
For our most academically talented Vermont students, Saint Michael's awards the Presidential Scholarship which is worth $100,000 ($25,000 per year for 4 years) providing students maintain a 3.0 GPA while at Saint Michael's. Qualified students must apply for admission and be nominated by their high school guidance counselor by December 1.
Students who have received the Saint Michael’s College Book Award for Scholarship and Service (given to students all over the U.S.) are eligible to apply for the Saint Michael’s College Book Award Scholarship which is worth up to $25,000 per year for 4 years. Information about this scholarship is mailed to all Book Award recipients in the early fall.
Athletic scholarships are available for men and women’s basketball only.
